Staking rewards are similar to dividends in a stock market account in that they are passively earned through the ownership of the asset (stock or crypto). Staking involves locking up your crypto assets, in this case $LFG, for a set period of time to help the operation of a project or blockchain. This period will differ from one staking pool to another.
