OpiPets is a free-to-play, Play-&-Earn pet battling economy game that allows players the ability to create, battle, collect or sell their unique OpiPet NFTs. Opipets emphasises gameplay first while players can begin building their wealth by exploring the various avenues to earn our in-game token without spending any money. OpiPets offers traditional aspects of P2E gaming, such as PvP ranked leaderboards, mini-games, NFT minting, cryptocurrency as in-game points, and breeding mechanics.
OpiPets takes place on a digital planet within the blockchain named ‘Opis I’; a dodecahedron shaped world within the Opiverse. It contains twelve distinct biomes; ten active and flourishing, but two inactive and uninhabitable due to a historic catastrophic event. Within those biomes is a range of places for the player to explore and discover in an interactive virtual world.
Exploring the world will unlock random events. These can be positive and negative. Players will encounter random NPCs and could be gifted items, encounter battles, receive in-game tokens, or receive negative effects on their pets.
